Terms and Conditions
Please take a few minutes to read and understand the terms and conditions below. You may also find my FAQ page useful or you are more than welcome to email me with any questions that you have.
Placing an order
Once you have purchased an item listed in my shop, you cannot submit any adaptations. You agree to purchase the item as shown and described. Please double check the length of hair vines or detail before purchase as this cannot be changed once ordered.
Adaptations to orders listed
The products listed in my shop are available as shown or you can choose to have different coloured beads, crystals or wire. Prices may vary for some adaptations where the design differs from the original. Before placing your order, you must notify me of any changes that you would like to make, either by email or via the contact form on the site. When purchasing an adaptation of a product that is listed in my shop, you agree to purchase the item as it shown with the adaptations discussed. If there is a difference in price as a result of the adaptations, I will send you an invoice for the product you have chosen.
Bespoke orders
Bespoke orders are very welcome and are a great way to ensure you get exactly what you want. Bespoke orders start with a consultation, either in person if possible, over the phone or via video call. This is your chance to tell me what you’d like, discuss the beads and colours you’d like to include and define the style of the piece you would like. Following the consultation, I will put together some sketches for you, along with a selection of some of the beads chosen so that you can come to a decision. Once you have decided on the design and features to be included, I will send you an invoice and a non-refundable deposit of £50 will be due.
Changes to the design of your bespoke piece will be accepted within 14 days of the invoice being sent. After that point, your order cannot be changed. Any additional charges will be added to your statement and I will inform you of this when you request them.
Bespoke orders are exempt from refunds (see below, refunds and replacements) as they are personalised to your specifications so please make sure that you are happy with the ideas discussed before committing to your order.
Processing time
Processing time is indicated on the products listed in my shop. Please note that for bespoke orders, I prioritise by wedding date order at busy times to ensure that you receive your accessory in plenty of time.
Paying an invoice
Once you have received your invoice to the email address you submit to me, you have 30 days to settle payment, unless another payment term has been discussed (see below: paying in instalments). Payment can be made by BACS and bank details are included in the fine print at the bottom of the invoice. I can also accept payments via PayPal if discussed in advance and cash payment can be made in person but will not be accepted in the post. I no longer accept payment by cheque.
On receipt of your invoice, you agree to pay a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure your order. After this payment has been received, you are committing to the order as discussed.
Invoices can be paid in instalments, which can be arranged when you place your order.
Late payments
Payments not received within the time specified on your invoice will be subject to a 4% interest charge. This is listed on the bottom of your invoice. I will notify you by email if payment has not been made before the date shown on your invoice.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you find that your product is damaged when it arrives, I will be happy to exchange it for you. You will need to notify me within 48 hours of receipt with details of what is wrong and I will send you details for how to return it. You will need to pay the postage to return your item. The replacement will be sent within three days of receiving the original damaged product and I will keep you informed of progress.
Refunds will only be offered on products purchased from my shop. You must contact me within 48 hours of receiving your item and a refund will be given on receipt of the returned item. You will need to pay the postage for returning the item to me. I recommend using a signed for service so that you can track when the item has arrived back to me.
I am unable to offer refunds on bespoke orders due to their personalised nature. Please make sure that you are happy with all the details before confirming your order. I will however repair or remake any item that arrives damaged. You must contact me within 48 hours of receiving your item and pay the return postage. Other than paying for return postage, your item will be remade at no additional cost to you.
Postage and packaging
All items will be sent via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service free of charge within the UK. This means that your accessory is insured against any damage in transit and you are able to track its progress online. Your accessory will be carefully packaged in a beautiful gift box. The gift box and packing box can be reused or recycled after use, while the biodegradable packaging pellets are made from wheat and corn starch and can be dissolved safely in water or put in to a compost bin to decompose.
International orders will be sent via Royal Mail’s international recorded delivery service. I will provide you with a tracking number for you to track the progress of your parcel. If you need an item quicker than the estimated delivery time, I can provide a quote for international courier services. Shipping costs will be factored in to quotes for bespoke orders.
Sending items to include in your accessory
When you place your order, I will send you details of where to send any items you would like included. I strongly recommend you send all items using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, which provides insurance against loss or damage of your items in transit and offers peace of mind as you can track your items online. I cannot reimburse anyone for any item sent without this service. All unused items will be returned with your finished product.
International customers will need to send their items via a courier service. While these may seem expensive, it is the only way to ensure your items arrive safely. Purchasing shipping directly from recognised couriers online may be more cost effective and I have had good experiences with both Parcel Force and FedEx. If you choose not to use a courier or recorded delivery service, I will not be held liable for any loss or damage to your items. It is your responsibility to complete all customs documentation relating to the items you are sending and I will not be held responsible for failure to do so. Any items that are not used in your finished accessory will be returned and itemised on the return customs declaration.
Processing your personal data
By placing an order, you consent to me processing necessary personal data to complete your order. This includes your name, address, email address, telephone number and wedding/event date, if applicable, and payment details. I use these details to communicate with you about your order, prioritise bookings, send your finished accessory and take payment for your order. I will not use these details to send unsolicited mail or promotional emails unless you choose to sign up to my newsletter, in which case you will be asked to give consent for me to do this. Your details will not be passed on to or sold to any other company. Please see my privacy policy for further details about how and why your personal data is used, stored and processed.
