Is this course right for me?

This course is suited to people who’d love to make and sell hair accessories and DIY brides alike. It is one-to-one, so you can take as much time as you need and feel comfortable asking me any questions you may have.

Please allow up to two and a half hours for your course.

What will I learn?

In your course, you’ll learn to make a design that I create exclusively for you, based on the options you choose from my inspiration gallery, giving you skills that you can easily adapt to other hair accessories.

Once you know the basics, you’ll be able to recreate details in different ways to give your work variety.

If you’re a bride, you’ll be able to create bridesmaid accessories that coordinate with your headpiece and if you’re looking to start a business, you’ll have the starting point for your first collection.

You will learn practical skills, such as:

• Which beads and materials to buy (and which to avoid!)

• How to manipulate wire

• How to attach details

• Where to find inspiration without copying someone else’s work

How do you create the design?

I create a design based on the options you choose when you order. You’ll get to see a sketch of the design for reference and can request some changes if necessary. Once we’ve finalised the design, I’ll send you an invoice and, once payment is received, we will book a date to make your accessory.

In your live course, we’ll create your design together. I’ll take you step by step through the tutorial, working with you and helping you if you get stuck.

What should I do to prepare for my live course

You’ll receive an email with all the details you need when you book your live session, along with a shopping list if you’ve purchased the course only option.

All you need to do is make sure you have all the suggested materials and tools ready, along with your favourite beverage!
