Hairpiece of the Month: November
Happy November!
How fast has this year gone? I can’t believe the leaves are falling and I’m back to wearing thermals and donning some fingerless gloves to work!
Autumn is my favourite time of year; I love the colours, the rare clear, cold blue sky days and the coziness of dark nights at home.
I designed November’s inspiration piece with the autumnal colours in mind. The vine is made from rich, warm copper wire (a nice middle ground between gold and slightly pricier rose gold) and features soft pink jade, freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals in red-brown and gold, to reflect the colours of the leaves at this time of year.
It was through making this piece that I realised how much colour inspires me. This combination works beautifully together and would look beautiful in all hair colours.
The delicate pearl branches travel along the vine balancing out the autumnal colour. The copper wire makes this piece so warm; I don’t think the effect would have been the same with any other colour.
This piece would also look beautiful transformed into a necklace, stitched on to your wedding dress or around the collar of a nice cosy jumper. You could also stitch it along the straps of your dress if you ordered two!
What do you think of this month’s hair piece? Looking forward to sharing December’s with you in a few weeks!
